July 12 – Ali and Sam in Princeton, NJ.
Â
My school from kindergarten through third grade, Nassau Street School is now part of Princeton University’s Lewis Center for the Arts. Joyce Carol Oates has her creative writing class there and there’s a wonderful theater in the old hated gym.
Â
Alexander Hall – in the PHS choir we sang Stravinsky’s Symphony of Psalms under Seijii Ozawa….and where Poco and the New Riders of the Purple Sage performed in the early ’70’s.
Â
The old Balt was my dad’s favorite place for malted milkshakes. Those are probably Mercer tiles from Moravian Pottery and Tileworks in Doylestown, PA.
Â
Always the tigers. This is the front of Nassau Hall, the oldest building on campus.
Â
Gothic Revival.
Â
Sam is related to John Notman, who designed Prospect House.
Â
a few weeks back, we had our 40th PHS reunion. We are in denial, Marty says. Here’s another link for Sam‘s work.
Â
Pat Rogers, my best friend from high school is now a psychotherapist in Boston.
