From 1997-2001 I lived and worked in San Francisco during the dotcom boom. These were the works created during that period. After my job ended at TechTV, which originated from the Site and ZDTV, I spent a lot of time sketching in Golden Gate Park and returning to my garage to paint the larger works. Many of these are large format paintings, like the Atlanta series.Â
During this period a relationship, the incredible landscape of northern California, and jazz became inspiration that informs the work. I continued working on some into my next move to the midwest and most were exhibited during that period.
