a week before Sam, my godson, was born – 1976. Suzan now lives in London as a practicing midwife, Todd in Denver, still writing the Beekman chronicles. Sam is out at Paramount Studios, a writer like his dad.

hi vick! gosh, i can see on my face in this photo (taken in 76, not 73) that unbeknownst to me labor was about to start gearing up.. my expression- i look so uncomfortable.. there’s a photo of the 3 of us skinny dipping and sitting on some rocks in the sun. not sure who has it. i think it was in sam’s photo album that might still be in storage in oregon if i’m lucky..
thanks for posting the photo. it doesn’t seem so long ago.
